DREADMOOR Map & Locations

The demo is built around the Betsy and Sons trading post. You start in an abandoned house to the east, gather materials on Angler's Island and nearby fishing spots, and finish by opening the gate at The Throat.

Fishing platform and pier	Behind the Dry Dock and under the trading post pier. Snappers.
John the Fifth's workshop	Near the trading post. The engineer, his Moonshine Still and the Dry Dock key.
Dry Dock	Boat lift, cleaning equipment, Repair Gun, Lathe and module storage.
Angler's Island	Coral to chop for Coral Fiber.
Peaceful-fish spot	Marked by the quest. Softgrazers.
Predatory-fish spot	Marked by the quest. Harpooners; look for the splash zone.
The Throat	The demo's final area: generator, fuel can, waterway machinery, two water wheels and the gate.

How navigation works

Follow the compass and quest markers from your journal.
Use the ship's radio to uncover new destinations, according to the developer.
Leave the boat to explore islands, buildings, caves and shipwrecks on foot.
Plan around fuel: the further you go from the trading post, the more you need.
Night changes the water. Distances feel longer and threats less predictable.

The wider Submerged Lands

The world is islands, broken landmasses, swamps, flooded ruins and isolated settlements. Early Access includes one major region, and the developer says it will keep developing the world during Early Access. Read more in story & Sea Blight explained.
