Is DREADMOOR Multiplayer or Co-op?
Where the confusion comes from
For the August 2026 playtest, the developer let testers invite up to three friends. That only gave those friends access to the playtest build; everyone still played on their own. The demo and Early Access are single-player as well.
What the developer has said about the experience
The developer describes the Submerged Lands as lonely and tense, with danger that comes from the world itself rather than constant combat. Being alone on the trawler is part of that design.
Looking for a co-op fishing game?
If you want to fish with friends, DREADMOOR is not that game, at least at launch. We will update this page if co-op is ever announced.
